World Rugby Player of the Year Pieter-Steph du Toit is one of six Springboks in WalesOnline's
2019 World Cup Team of the Tournament.
The others are loosehead prop Beast Mtawarira, lock Lood de Jager, No 8 Duane Vermeulen, scrumhalf Faf de Klerk and inside centre Damian de Allende.
The website said Mtawarira had 'wound back the clock at the World Cup' and 'saved his best for last as he destroyed [England tighthead] Dan Cole, an early replacement for concussion victim Kyle Sinckler'.
It added that De Jager 'is just such a physical presence and so hard to stop', while Du Toit 'is far more than just being a nuisance with his telescopic arms, he's a tremendous all-round player with a super feel for the game and what needs to be done'.

Vermeulen clinched WalesOnline
's No 8 berth after 'a Man of the Match performance in the final after starring roles against Wales and Japan'.
The website said while Faf de Klerk may 'faf' around at times, 'the scrumhalf pocket dynamo was at the heart of South Africa hoisting the World Cup for a third time', while De Allende 'has that priceless ability to get over the gainline and shrug off would-be tacklers'.
