The Sharks have revealed the first of their new nine signings ahead of the 2020 season.
It is 23-year-old James Venter, who attended Glenwood High School in Durban and represented the Sharks at schools level before joining the Lions in 2015.
Venter has received limited game time for the Lions in Super Rugby. He came off the bench in last Saturday’s Currie Cup final, scoring two tries.
The Sharks will announce their other new signings over the next eight days.
We would like to introduce James Venter who will be joining the @CellC Sharks family from the start of pre-season. Welcome to the number one team to play for, work for and shout for🦈#OurSharksForever pic.twitter.com/c7cQbc5Y4B
