To stand the chance to win a copy of Beast’s new book, we asked you to pick your most memorable moment from his career. Here’s what our three winners said.
My most memorable moment is watching the Beast hold up Sharks lock Anton Bresler after a restart. I also admired his ability to control scrums when everyone wrote him off. It was great to meet him and see he is a true gentle giant, who switches on when he takes to the field.
Watching my first game as a Lions supporter at Kings Park I was amazed by the loud roar of Beeeeeaaaaasssst when he touched the ball. He was a true Sharks and Springbok hero and always gave his all, no matter who he played for.
My greatest Beast moment is when he destroyed the British & Irish Lions’ scrum (Phil Vickery in particular) during the first Test at Kings Park in 2009.
