'I want to get back into the Springbok mix'

Sale Sharks centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg hopes to add to his solitary Test cap. Janse van Rensburg wore the Springbok No 12 jersey in their 27-13 defeat to Wales in November 2016, having scored a try in a 31-31 draw against the Barbarians earlier on that tour. After being loaned by the Lions to Sale for a short stint in 2018, he signed a permanent deal with the English club before the 2018-19 European season. The 25-year-old has become one of the most destructive ball-carrying centres in Europe and hopes his good form will earn him a Test recall. 'My motivation is to try and play for the Springboks and I am going to push hard to get back into the mix even if it's just to train with them,' he told RugbyPass. 'I am going to just keep pushing hard and hopefully my opportunity [to play for the Boks] will come again and I can take it with both hands. 'After the World Cup they are on such a high and what Rassie [Erasmus] has built is fantastic and you want to be part of that.'
