Bok Women crush Madagascar to set up Kenya decider


The Springbok Women took a step closer to qualifying for the 2021 World Cup with a 73-0 victory against Madagascar in Brakpan on Tuesday.

The hosts scored 13 tries, with lock Rights Mkhari getting a hat-trick. No 8 Aseza Hele, wingers Snenhlanhla Shozi and Ayanda Malinga, and replacement back Aphiwe Ngwevu each scored two tries.

The Bok Women’s second win of the tournament ensured their closing match against Kenya on Saturday will be the decider for the available World Cup spot.

The Kenyans claimed a 37-5 victory against Uganda in the other qualifying match on Tuesday.
