Former Proteas batsman Herschelle Gibbs scored this solo try for Western Province during the 1992 Craven Week 'final' against Free State.
Gibbs was a star performer for Bishops, with Naas Botha regarding him as the most talented and complete schoolboy flyhalf he'd seen.
However, Gibbs opted to pursue cricket as a career and became a Protea instead of a Springbok.
