A four-week series of Women in Rugby webinars will be hosted in aid of the Players’ Fund during Women's Month.
The Zoom interviews will be on Thursday nights throughout August from 19:30 to 20:30.
The series, presented by BrightRock, will kick off on 6 August when Players’ Fund chairman and former Springbok captain Jean de Villiers interviews Springbok Women’s captain Babalwa Latsha and Imbokodo captain Zintle Mpupha. You can book here for it.
The following week, former Springbok PR manager Annelee Murray and her good friend Zelda la Grange, Nelson Mandela's former personal assistant, will share stories from their time behind the scenes.
'The world has embraced enormous change over the past few months, learning to connect with others in new ways, thanks to technology and a new-found appreciation for time spent with family and friends,' said Suzanne Stevens, deputy CEO of BrightRock.
'BrightRock’s philosophy is to Love Change – to embrace the opportunities that even unwelcome change can bring to people’s lives, and there’s growing scientific evidence that this ability adapt is a skill that can be learned and honed.
'The recipients of the Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players’ Fund are some of the most inspirational examples of this ability, but so are the women who’ll be profiled in this series – they’re true change-makers in the rugby world. We’re proud to be able to partner with the fund to raise funds and showcase some of these women.'
